Building Greater Efficiency Through Agile Infrastructure Webinar
In a recent Harvard Business Review Analytic Services survey, a majority (53%) of respondents indicated that their number one business need for investing in cloud is to increase efficiency. Indeed, three-quarters (74%) of respondents described the role that cloud is playing in their organization as reducing the cost of their technology operations. But needs for cloud don’t stop there. Other needs include increasing flexibility or scalability, making better use of data and analytics, and increasing security.
And nearly three-fourths (73%) of respondents report their organizations are migrating their enterprise technology infrastructure and platforms to the cloud. More than half of respondents indicate that they have completed the migration of workforce collaboration tools to the cloud and nearly half report that they have also completed the migration of data storage, customer relationship management, security and disaster recovery tools and capabilities to the cloud. Clearly, attitudes about technology infrastructure suggest that cloud is critical to both their current operations and the future success of their businesses.
In an HBR-Analytic Services video webinar, Todd Pruzan, HBR’s senior editor for research and special projects, moderated a discussion based on the findings from AWS’s recent HBR-AS Pulse Survey with Alex Clemente, managing director of HBR-AS. Alex Clemente shared results from this recent HBR-AS survey about how enterprise growth can be achieved through more agile infrastructure.
He then joined a discussion on best practices of business enterprise leaders as well as recommended approaches to leading change, with Thorsten Biel, Manager of Cloud Enablement and Integration, at Porsche and Alex Clemente, Managing Director of HBR-AS.
