Professional services firms know the importance of attracting and keeping top talent. In an industry where your people are your product, delivering an excellent employee experience (EX) isn’t an option—it’s an imperative.

With its heightened importance, EX continues to expand in scope to encompass the day-to-day interactions of employees. Amidst the uncertainty of the post-pandemic workplace, attracting and retaining the best people is more crucial than ever.

To better understand how the professional services industry is responding to the increased importance of EX, Harvard Business Review Analytic Services (HBR-AS) explored how leading industry players are elevating their EX.

In a live, interactive HBR-AS video webinar, Alex Clemente shared insights from this research. He examined the roles of leadership, line managers, technology, and culture in creating a great EX that spans the physical and digital realms.

He led a discussion featuring IBM’s Obed Louissaint, senior vice president of transformation and culture, and Salesforce’s Jimmy Bremner, vice president of Industries, on how organizations can improve their EX. The panelists examined:

  • Why building trust is critical to improving EX
  • How to create a strong employee culture through communication
  • How to make sure people have the tools and technology to succeed
  • Why a great EX is a prerequisite for creating optimal customer experience (CX)

It is easier than ever for top talent to change jobs if they’re not getting what they want and need from their employer. By prioritizing EX, professional service firms can ensure their workforce remains motivated and engaged.
